Through X, the Foundation he presented the launch of Graffio, an NFT-oriented digital on-chain drawing platform where community members can participate to contribute to the creation of the non-fungible artwork and be part of the project's story.
The Aptos Foundation highlighted that Graffio is a unique on-chain canvas that allows users to create and share drawings and fun creations to shape NFT art.

Members of the Aptos community can participate in this NFT work by connecting their wallets or logging in through social networks. In addition, the Foundation highlighted that participation in Graffio does not involve gas fees.
The spirit of Aptos in a collective artistic project
The Aptos Foundation seeks to reflect the decentralized spirit of the blockchain network with the launch of Graffio. As highlighted in X, Aptos is a high-performance, low-fee blockchain that maintains a positive and innovative spirit.

The Aptos canvas was launched as a chain version of Reddit Place, so its administrators can configure the size of the canvas, set a time for the canvas to be writable to encourage community participation, make adjustments or modifications to the canvas, among others. other functions.
Therefore, after 24 hours from the opening of Graffio, the artistic contributions of the community on the on-chain canvas will be converted into a unique NFT, which will be present in all participating wallets. The Aptos Foundation is moderating the process and reserves the right to edit and modify the canvas for the final work.
Aptos filed a ruling lasting several hours
Shortly after the launch of Graffio, the Aptos blockchain presented a failure that took it offline for almost 7 hours.
In X, the network's co-founder and CEO, Mo Shaikh, had highlighted that more than 4.000 users were connected to Graffio simultaneously painting the NFT artwork. Shaikh stated that this represented “the true expression of opinion as artists”, involving people from all over the world and that it was happening thanks to Web3. However, shortly after, the network went offline.
At the time of writing this article, Aptos is back online and the price of its cryptocurrency, APT, is trading above $4,92 per unit, showing a slight correction of 0,13% in the last 24 hours.
