Among the Web3 projects related to the K-pop industry that Avalanche is currently developing, Kim highlighted from Crypto Collectibles and NFTs, which are even being used as credentials for entry to events and concerts, up to decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO) where fans of the genre can make some decisions about their favorite groups and artists.

Kim also mentioned that the development of these applications is incentivizing the expansion of Avalanche's adoption and use cases. Over the past year, the network has attracted major partners, such as SK Group, which is using blockchain to issue digital tickets as NFT tokens for its concerts. The entrepreneur also emphasized that such partnerships, such as Avalanche's with SK Group, which is the third largest conglomerate in the country, are key to accelerating and ensuring mass adoption of Web3. In his opinion, the blockchain and Web3 industry can take advantage of the large user base that traditional companies have, to expand massively.

“Retail adoption should happen with larger companies because they already have locked-in users”, Kim pointed out.

Ava Labs also maintains partnerships with Titan Content, a global K-pop entertainment agency, considered the largest in South Korea.

Intellectual property and monetization

One of the most innovative use cases and applications of blockchain technology in the artistic world is the protection of intellectual property and copyright and the ability to Monetization of content without intermediaries.

Artists can use blockchain to immutably record their creations and content, allowing for verifiable proof of authenticity and ownership.
