Activision Blizzard President Named Otherside CEO
📍Daniel Alegre is leaving his position at Activision Blizzard to focus on the development of Yuga Labs' Otherside metaverse. The company behind the Bored Ape and Mutant Ape crypto collections and the Otherside metaverse has hired the former CEO of Activision Blizzard, the video game and console company acquired by Microsoft, to lead the development of its immersive virtual world Otherside.
Alegre will serve as Activision Blizzard's president and chief operating officer until March 31, when his current contract with the video game developer expires. However, Alegre has already secured a spot at one of the companies most committed to Web3 development, Yuga Labs.
