Telefónica offers 4 new crypto collections in its NFT Marketplace

Telefónica's NFT marketplace, which operates on the Polygon Network, has integrated 4 new crypto collections: Gamium, Paysenger, The Crypto Hunters and Metacampus.

Telefónica is expanding the range of crypto collectibles it offers to its users through its NFT market platform.

Yaiza Rubio, Chief Metaverse Officer of Telefónica, highlighted that the company has been expanding the offer in its NFT Marketplace, integrating exclusive and innovative collections that make its platform a meeting place for those interested in the world of Web3.

In line with the above, Telefónica announced recently adding four new digital collections to its NFT Marketplace. These are the NFT collections Gamium, Paysenger, The Crypto Hunters and Metacampus, which come to the Telefónica Marketplace to grow this platform and to continue bringing the world of Web3 closer to users who are not familiar with new technologies.

Telefónica's NFT Marketplace, which launched in 2021, is a platform that seeks to facilitate the connection between digital artists and creators, with digital art dealers and collectors. This market is based on the Polygon Network, which is secured by Ethereum, but offers greater accessibility for users, with commission rates that are significantly lower than the mainnet.

Telefónica's marketplace platform allows users to transact Polygon's native MATIC token to purchase crypto collectibles ranging from exclusive digital art and illustrations to literary works, music, video game collectibles, metaverse collectibles and more.

Telefónica's new NFT collections

The new collections listed on the NFT Marketplace include Gamium x Telefónica, an exclusive collection of non-fungible tokens that is made up of a total of 225 digital assets. According to Telefónica, each of the unique works that are part of this crypto collection will be available in the Gamium Metaverse, a virtual space where users will be able to easily discover and create immersive digital experiences through their avatars.

Another of the crypto collections integrated into the NFT market platform is Paysenger, made up of 50 digital assets enabled by Artificial Intelligence. Telefónica explained that each NFT in this collection is protected by an exclusive token gating in the Paysenger space. This ensures that the collection is accessible only to those users who are members of the Paysenger community, adding additional value to the digital artworks.

The Crypto Hunters TV Show and Creative Collections by Metacampus, also recently integrated into Telefónica's NFT Marketplace, contain 8 and 69 unique NFTs, respectively, driving exploration of the Web3 ecosystem.

According to the company, all these collections capture the essence and evolution of Web3, and allow people not so familiar with emerging technologies to be brought closer to the digital world in a simple way.

Success collapses the NFT Marketplace

At the time of writing, the developers of Crypto Hunters Game report that Telefónica's NFT Marketplace is suffering from the success of new digital collections. According to the developers, the significant increase in users and demand for the new NFTs have collapsed the non-fungible token market platform.

“Dear community, due to incredible interest and a significant increase in users, the Telefónica NFT market is temporarily inactive,” indicated the developers.

The Crypto Hunters Game team assured that the company is currently working to address the situation of its NFT market as soon as possible.
