In its fifth in-person edition at Fycma, the Malaga Trade Fair and Congress Centre, Talent Woman Spain 2022 will include the metaverse among its main themes on 2 and 3 November.

On their official website, the event's organizers have indicated that the incorporation of the "metaverse" theme into their program will be through the experience of professional women and leaders in the sector, as well as young people who have a long and recognized track record in STEM disciplines in order to become a great inspiration for boys, girls and young students who want to develop their careers in this field.

The Talent Woman Spain 2022 event will revolve around three different themes: Firstly, "STEAM Women», where different experts will talk about the importance of the STEAM ecosystem and the work of women in areas such as Engineering, Science, Technology, Arts and Mathematics will be promoted, encouraging attendees to discover why more and more countries are opting for this system to increase the interest of students in this type of disciplines.

In second place, «professionalization and personal development», where women's reality when it comes to professionalizing their activities will be better understood and topics such as training, professionalization, job opportunities, gender perspective, personal development and salary ranges will be discussed.

Finally, the event will also address the «talent and career path», showing the career paths of leading women who have been making their way professionally within the main technological and scientific industries.

Andalusia invests in the metaverse

The programme of this congress was presented this Monday with the participation of the Councillor for Promotion of Malaga and the Managing Director of the Digital Agency of Andalusia, thus reinforcing the Andalusian commitment to the metaverse. Other participants were the Commercial Director of Private Banking for Eastern Andalusia of Caixabank or the Head of Solidarity and Research of the Unicaja Foundation, as well as the Director of Talent Network.

In addition, this event has the collaboration of the STEM Alliance promoted by the Government of Spain. According to the analysis of a global study by Ipsos, Spain was declared this year as “the country closest to the metaverse”. Similarly, at the beginning of the second half of the year, the Spanish government announced that it would allocate more than 3,8 million euros to SMEs and individuals in the EU seeking to innovate through processes associated with the metaverse and Web3, which makes it clear why the metaverse is a main topic at this year's event.
