Italian luxury fashion brand Gucci and famous businesswoman, singer and actress Paris Hilton will launch their own NFT collections in collaboration with the brand Superplastic.
Global entertainment brand Superplastic, which makes limited-edition vinyl toys and digital collectibles, will collaborate with Gucci and Paris Hilton on the launch of their upcoming NFT collections.
Gucci, which has been interested in the world of non-fungible tokens in blockchain, reported that it will launch “Super Gucci”, an exclusive collection of 10 NFTs designed by Alessandro Michele, the Italian brand's design director, together with the famous entertainment company Superplastic. For her part, Paris Hilton assured that her next collection of non-fungible tokens will soon be available on the Origin protocol, of which she is a Partner and investor since last June. Paris Hilton's NFT collection, titled «Forever Fairytale», can be seen on Superplastic’s roadmap, noting that the American businesswoman will launch “something powerfully beautiful” for her fans.

Gucci, Paris Hilton and NFTs
Brands and artists are experimenting with NFTs, drawn by their monetization potential. While “SuperGucci” is the first full NFT collection created by Gucci, the brand has already released digital products, including a digital sneaker filter on the Wanna app and several items traded on Roblox’s non-blockchain platform, where they have sold for far more than those available in its physical stores.

Superplastic explains on its website that the first collection of 10 Gucci NFTs will be released in three parts, each with its own handmade porcelain sculpture. The collection will combine the highly original digital style of Superplastic's synthetic artists, Guggimon and Janky, with the distinguished style of the fashion house; making it an extremely limited and valuable NFT collection.

With this collection of non-fungible tokens, Gucci is demonstrating its interest in new technologies and is aiming towards the metaverse. On its Twitter account, Gucci reported about a new experimental space, called Gucci Vault, where it will foster open conversations with the community about what's next in the virtual world and other innovations. The Italian brand's NFT collection will be launched on February 1st via Superplastic.
