LaLiga and StadioPlus join forces to create a sports space in Decentraland

StadioPlus and LaLiga will use the “Vegas City” space in the Decentraland metaverse to build their sports metaverse project.

La Liga Santander, the main Spanish football competition, and the blockchain sports company, StadioPlus, together with Vegas City, have partnered to create a space in the Decentraland metaverse, whose objective will be to bring football to the new generations.

The roadmap for LaLiga and StadioPlus is to have their space in the metaverse ready before the next World Cup in Qatar, which will take place at the end of November 2022. In this way, they intend to create a series of New features for football fans, through immersive experiences in Decentraland.

LaLiga and StadioPlus have decided to take advantage of the Vegas City district of Decentraland, since it is the place where they have established most of the sports brands and where they find most of the entertainment games.
