Shiba Inu developers are expanding the communication channels they maintain with their community of users and collaborators, known as SHIBArmy.
Anticipating the arrival of Shibarium, the main developer and leader of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Shytoshi Kusama, announced on Twitter the launch of a new channel on the Telegram messaging platform with the aim of keeping its SHIBArmy community informed about everything related to the launch of the new layer 2 network.
The new Telegram channel was launched just over the weekend. However, at the time of writing this article, the channel already has more than 17.600 registered users.
At the moment, this new Telegram channel is enabled so that all those who wish can sign up. Through this channel, Shytoshi promises that it will keep its community informed about everything related to the development and launch of Shibarium, Shiba Inu's next layer 2 blockchain, and that conversations between users will be enabled after the arrival of the new network.
Its creation has made rumors grow about how close the launch of the new layer 2 network could be, which will embark Shiba Inu on a new evolutionary journey to become a more secure, powerful and decentralized blockchain.
Last week, the developers of Shiba Inu announced that the beta version of the new Shibarium network is about to be launched.

SHIB rises 15% weekly
The launch of Shibarium's new Telegram channel saw the Shiba Inu (SHIB) price start the week on the right foot, reaching a unit price of $ 0,000012 dollars per token.
SHIB has climbed two positions since last week, currently ranking as the thirteenth (13th) cryptocurrency in the market by capitalization. The weekly growth of this cryptocurrency is, on average, 15%, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
