In fact, according to data from the Bitcoin Treasuries platform, Semler Scientific is among the 15 public companies with Bitcoin holdings, so its new investment not only reinforces its confidence in the cryptocurrency's potential as a coveted safe-haven asset, but also further positions it among the elite of companies that have transformed their financial model by betting on the blockchain revolution.

Semler Scientific approaches 5.000 BTC

Semler Scientific's trajectory in the Bitcoin universe is a clear example of how a traditional company can reinvent itself in the digital age. Since May 2024, the company has made regular Bitcoin purchases, growing from holding 1.570 BTC in November of that year to 4.449 BTC today, following its latest acquisition.

Semler Scientific CEO Eric Semler announced the new Bitcoin purchase through a post on X, which reflects the company's long-term vision of cryptocurrency as a pillar of its store of value and corporate growth.

This recent investment, made between May 23 and June 3, 2025, adds to a series of strategic acquisitions that include the purchase of 455 BTC for $50 million in May and other smaller purchases in the preceding months. In total, the company has invested more than $410 million in Bitcoin, with a market value currently exceeding $440 million. 

The accelerated growth of its Bitcoin reserves has been made possible by an innovative financial structure, where part of the funds for the purchase of BTC come from the issuance of shares on the market, allowing Semler Scientific to steadily increase its treasury.
