One of the 9 Alien Punks from the CryptoPunks NFT collection, which was launched in 2017 on the Ethereum blockchain, has gone down in crypto industry history as the second most expensive Punk ever sold.
The owner of this NFT received an offer of 4.500 ETH on March 4, valued at around $15,7 million at the time of sale. However, with the cryptocurrency's surge, trading at around $3.700, the current value of the NFT is now over $16 million.

CryptoPunks are a collection of 10.000 NFT avatars created on Ethereum, which have become one of the most representative symbols of the Crypto Art movement.
This NFT collection, which was initially developed by Larva Labs, was acquired with all its rights by the Web3 company Yuga Labs, the creator of the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), in March 2022.
