Ronin Wallet, the crypto wallet of the gaming-focused Ronin Network, will be updating over the next 14 days.
Ronin Network developers Sky Mavis have introduced a series of important updates to expand and strengthen the capabilities of their cryptocurrency wallet.
In a recent post, the creators of the gaming blockchain highlighted that the new updates will integrate a flurry of innovative features and tools into Ronin Wallet that will provide users with stronger security, as well as multichain support, to integrate multiple blockchains into their digital ecosystem.
Among the new chains included in the cryptocurrency wallet are Ethereum, the main network on which Ronin Network is based, as well as Polygon Network y BNB Chain.
Another of the innovations that are integrated into the Ronin network's cryptocurrency wallet is the multi-party computing technology, a technology used to securely and privately divide, share, and exchange data between different parties, so that no one party has access to the full set of data.
The Ronin Network Team he highlighted that new updates will be implemented in the cryptocurrency wallet in phases, over the next 14 days.
A new browser in the application
In addition to multichain support and multi-party computation, Ronin Network also announced the launch of a new in-app browser, which will allow users to more easily access individual token activity history and more specific details of their NFT tokens.
Sky Mavis, the company behind Ronin Wallet, also develops the Play to Earn blockchain game Axie Infinity. In fact, the Ronin Chain was created to cope with the high demand for this Web3 game, whose success was affecting the Ethereum blockchain. Axie Infinity NFTs are therefore compatible with the Ronin Chain crypto wallet.
The evolution of the Ronin wallet, with the new features announced, marks a milestone for the future of Web3 gaming.
This major update, which is being implemented by Ronin developers in the cryptocurrency wallet, will be available for both Android and iOS users, through the respective app stores of these operating systems.
On the other hand, the Ronin Wallet desktop extension will be updated with new features in the future, the developers said.
Multi-party computing technology
While the new features being integrated into the Ronin Wallet app will not yet be available in the crypto wallet’s browser extension, the developers emphasized that multi-party computing technology will be integrated into both versions of the wallet immediately.
This computing technology will make it easier for users to log in, streamlining the onboarding experience to the cryptocurrency wallet.
“After completing this update, you will have a refreshed Ronin mobile wallet, while the desktop extension will look and feel pretty much the same as always.”, Sky Mavis noted.
Ronin Wallet is a tool designed to facilitate entry into the Ronin gaming blockchain, which is one of the fastest growing blockchains in the world.
Since last year, Sky Mavis developers have been focused on building a more robust network and perfecting the tools that are part of its digital ecosystem, to offer its users a more reliable and fluid experience.
One of the latest updates enabled on Ronin Wallet last year implemented notifications for balance updates for several tokens including SLP, AXS, RON, and USDC.
