Currently, companies like video game retailer GameStop and blockchain-powered booking platform Travala accept payments in digital assets, including the meme cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Launched in 2021, Shiba Inu is one of 656 memecoins listed by crypto asset pricing platform CoinMarketCap. The growth and interest that this meme cryptocurrency has sparked, which has the support of celebrities such as Elon Musk and one of the most active communities of users and fans in the crypto industry, has prompted major brands to recognize its potential and integrate it among the payment options they offer their clients and consumers.
