Manta Network joins Polygon zkEVM to power its ZK app ecosystem

“ZK meets ZK,” said Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal, referring to Manta Network's integration into Polygon's expanding zkEVM ecosystem.

Manta Network recently announced a collaboration with Polygon Labs to migrate its Manta Pacific second-layer ecosystem to the Polygon Chain Development Kit (CDK).

The migration seeks to integrate the fundamental modularity and sovereignty in Polygon CDK to optimize the ecosystem of DApps focused on Manta Pacific's zero-knowledge or ZK technology, a hub for decentralized applications that launched on the mainnet, in alpha version last month, in order to accelerate the adoption and use cases of ZK technology.

The Manta Network developers highlighted that from now on, the future of the Manta ecosystem will be built using the open source Polygon CDK toolkit.

Manta Pacific, a pillar for the development of ZK DApps

Polygon CDK was designed to facilitate the creation and development of ZK-powered Layer 2 solutions compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), so the arrival of Manta Network's ZK DApps hub on Polygon CDK means more. and better security guarantees and faster finality.

“The network effects are undeniable and getting stronger every day, which means greater access to the unified blockchain space,” said Sandeep Nailwal, referring to the integration of Manta Pacific into the growing Polygon ecosystem.

According to the developers, Polygon CDK aligns with Manta Pacific's short- and long-term needs.

The ZK-powered DApps hub hopes to leverage “the interoperable block space and liquidity of chains built with Polygon CDK” to strengthen its ecosystem and become a pillar for the development of zero-knowledge applications.

With this initiative, the developers want to facilitate the creation of ZK DApps, eliminating several of the complexities that this entails, in addition to improving the liquidity that Manta Pacific applications will be able to access without sacrificing the independence and customization that characterizes them.
