How was the DUX ecosystem born?
It was between 2018 and 2019, when Luiz Octávio was studying economics at university, that a friend of his told him about blockchain technology and Bitcoin. At that time, he decided to study this new technology in depth, as he realized the potential it had.
At that moment, Luiz Octávio decided that he wanted to develop something with which he could help accelerate resource distribution using blockchain technologyAt that time, during some talks on business innovation, he realized that he did not want to talk about companies anymore and wanted to focus on decentralization and income distribution.
Although it took its first steps back then, DUX is something alive and evolving, which continues to be in constant development implementing the ideas of the developer community, but also of the users who use it.
What sets DUX apart from other similar platforms?
One of the main distinguishing features of DUX is its origin, since the company is located in Brazil, so it has preferential access to the Latin American market; a gigantic space with great technological acceptance.
On the other hand, DUX Games has entered very early in the blockchain gaming and NFT sector, which allows them to develop technologies and ideas that have not yet been done. This has allowed DUX to take advantage of what they call the “network effect”, as they were the first to develop many things, seek opportunities, partnerships and investments, managing to improve their community.

What is the DUX token?

What have been the biggest challenges DUX has faced when launching its tokens?
For Luiz, one of the main difficulties has been design a tokenomics and a token distribution that drives value for the community, but at the same time is attractive to holders.
Another challenge for DUX has been developing the company's technology and overall processes. As a pioneering company, DUX often has no references on how to do many things.
On the other hand, DUX is located in a market (crypto) that is very new, so there is not yet an established user experience that they can take as a reference. So, in order to develop long-term products, DUX faces daily challenges on how to do it.
Finally, the fourth challenge facing DUX is managing a large community. In this regard, Luiz points out how important it is to remember that each member of the community is a unique person, with their own interests, desires and needs that must be heard and addressed.
Where is the crypto gaming market headed in the future?
First of all, Luiz is sure that Blockchain will be the technology of the future and that it will be integrated into all markets, in the same way that the Internet is in everything today. DUX’s CEO assures that in five or ten years, blockchain will have different levels of integration.
On the other hand, he also believes that everything we have seen so far in NFT games is just the tip of the iceberg and that in the future, major developers will integrate blockchain into their games, as they will find new ways to monetize this technology and generate value for the community.
Luiz also believes that “Gamification” will play a very important role in the market of the future, being able to train everyone from bricklayers to doctors through these gamification practices.

How do you see the future of DUX?
DUX is an adaptive ecosystem that will bring together a wide variety of technologies, people and communities to accelerate the transition to Web 3.
One of Luiz’s goals is to bring 100 million people into Web 3, so they can grow and make a living within this new ecosystem. In this sense, Luiz wants DUX to be driven by the community itself and by DUX token holders in the future.

- Community: DUX has created a platform where different stakeholders in the market can integrate, from players to investors. At the same time, they create social engineering structures to facilitate the exchange of value.
- Software: The second point of DUX is the software that communities, DAOs or guilds will use in the future to manage their treasury, gaming performance or blogs.
- DUX Wallet: Thanks to it, players will be able to manage the cryptocurrencies and NFTs they use in their games in a simpler and more accessible way for everyone.
- Launch pad: Which will be used for the launch of all major pre-sale projects and any new projects that come in the future.
- Metaverse and decentralization: DUX is working with other companies to develop its own metaverse, which aims to get people into Web 3.
