Instagram is developing NFT features

The plans to integrate NFTs on Instagram (and other Meta platforms) go hand in hand with the idea of the metaverse, since this virtual universe has the ability to turn anything into an NFT, even the clothes that our avatar will wear can be minted like an NFT.

Spotify seeks to create a team to work on NFT

This is also not the brand's first interaction on the blockchain, as it was one of the first partners of Meta (at the time, still Facebook) in the launch of Diem, the failed project of Facebook cryptocurrencies.

At that time, Spotify's goal was to use cryptocurrencies and blockchain to explore new ways to pay artists who publish their music on the platform.

Twitter and NFT profile pictures

However, these two platforms are not the only ones working on the implementation of NFTs. In fact, they are not even the first, since that place belongs to Twitter.

The little blue bird network implemented a functionality in January 2022 so that its users can use the NFTs you have in your Ethereum wallets , the profile pictures. For now, its use has been limited to Twitter Blue users, the social network's premium option.
