
Anthony Hopkins’ highly anticipated NFT collection, “The Eternal Collection,” sold out in less than 10 minutes and moved over 300 ETH in volume on its first day.
The NFT collection of artist, painter and composer Anthony Hopkins, two-time Oscar winner and Sir in the art world, is now available on Ethereum's largest NFT marketplace, Opensea.
“The Eternal Collection”, as the collection of non-fungible tokens was titled Inspired by the long and illustrious film and artist career Anthony Hopkins, was first announced in August this year in collaboration with Web3 entertainment company Orange Comet.
The 1.000 NFTs that make up this crypto collection sold out within minutes of their launch on Opensea, where they have already generated a Sales volume of 332 ETH.
On Twitter, the renowned British actor celebrated the success achieved with “The Eternal Collection.” Anthony Hopkins thanked his community of fans and collectors for the successful outcome of his NFTs. “I seem to have the ability to block the Internet in one jump. Thank you all. I couldn’t have imagined this outcome,” the actor commented.
Opensea reported some issues on its platform when minting “The Eternal Collection” NFTs, due to high user demand for these assets. However, all Anthony Hopkins non-fungible tokens were sold out in less than 10 minutes.
“The Eternal Collection”, a collection of 1.000 unique NFTs
The Eternal Collection NFT crypto collection is comprised of 1.000 pieces including 10 uniquely signed, randomly selected animation NFTs, which are inspired by the artist’s impressive and successful film career.
The other 990 NFTs that make up “The Eternal Collection” are unique, 1-of-1 images inspired by Hopkins’ 10 different NFT character archetypes. That’s 99 NFT variants for each NFT character archetype in the actor’s crypto collection.

Anthony Hopkins’ 10 uniquely signed NFTs offer their holders several special utilities, including the ability to connect with the actor on a Zoom video call and receive an autographed Dreamscapes art book, containing hundreds of full-color images of Anthony Hopkins’ paintings and drawings. The art book offers an intimate look at the British artist’s work, poetry, and music.
Among the holders of the NFT variants of each Hopkins character archetype, 39 winners will be chosen to receive a Dreamscapes art book autographed by the actor. Additionally, 5 winners will be chosen to connect on a video call with the actor and 1 winner will be chosen to connect on a private call with Hopkins, which will be posted on social media.
The artist will also reward 100 of his NFT holders with a custom piece containing a personal message.
“Zero Contact”, Anthony Hopkins' first NFT thriller
For Anthony Hopkins, blockchain and NFT tokens have become a new canvas on which to express his art and connect directly with his fans.
The renowned British actor first entered the world of NFTs in 2021, with the release of the film “Zero Contact” produced by the Enderby Entertainment studio in collaboration with the feature film NFT platform, Vuele.
“Zero Contact” was the first NFT thriller starring Anthony Hopkins on the Vuele platform.
