The new NFT platform LaLiga Golazos will work in a similar way to the NBA Top Shot platform, as a market for NFT moments to collect the most iconic plays in Spanish football.
LaLiga, Spain's top football league, has partnered with blockchain company Dapper Labs to launch its own officially licensed NFT token platform.
Called LaLiga Golazos, this new platform will function as a market for NFT moments, where users will be able to market the most epic moments and iconic plays in the history of LaLiga and Spanish football.
LaLiga's new NFT platform is currently available in beta. However, fans of the sport, who signed up to the sports division's waitlist, will be able to start collecting their favourite moments as non-fungible tokens on the blockchain starting on October 27. The NFT marketplace platform will officially launch in November.
Dapper Labs, the company responsible for developing the Flow blockchain and also the NBA NFT moments marketplace called NBA Top Shot, said that the blockchain brings fans closer to football, so they can possess the true passion for this sport through NFTs.

What is LaLiga Golazos?
LaLiga Golazos is presented as an officially licensed marketplace by LaLiga, where users can buy and sell football 'moments' between other users and verified collectors within the platform.
NFT moments are digital video collectibles from matches that are tokenized on the blockchain and can be owned and sold as unique digital assets. Each of these moments has its own qualities, including a level of rarity.
In LaLiga Golazos, moments will be classified according to the date of the match, the serial number, the football club, the player and the final result of the match or the score.
The first LaLiga Golazos NFT moments pack will be released for exclusive waitlist users on October 27. Then, on the platform, users will be able to purchase moment packs or specific moments of their favorite players or matches.
Dapper Labs Welcomes San Jose Sharks
The professional team from California, San Jose Sharks, the first in the National Hockey League (NHL) to join the Flow blockchain from Dapper Labs. The company said the San Jose Sharks are working with ticketing company Ticketmaster to launch NFTs based on fan attendance at games in the 2022-23 season.
