Buenos Aires is following in the footsteps of Barbados and has announced the development of its own virtual world within the Decentraland blockchain platform, one of the most popular platforms developed on the Ethereum network. With this initiative, the local government has become the first in Latin America to create an official space in the metaverse.
Buenos Aires is creating a digital environment with three of its most emblematic sites, such as the historic Teatro Colón, built at the beginning of the 20th century.
