Keanu Reeves has become one of the biggest proponents of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the film world and recently expressed this in an interview with Wired.
The well-known Hollywood actor, born in Beirut (Lebanon), defended the potential of cryptocurrencies during a interview awarded to the American magazine Wired, specialized in technology, science and culture.
“The ideas behind an independent currency are amazing”, Reeves said in the interview in which he was promoting his new film in the “John Wick” saga. According to the actor, cryptocurrencies have a great potential for resource distribution, as well as being a “wonderful tool for the exchange” of value.
Reeves also spoke about the volatility of cryptocurrencies, one of the characteristics that most attracts and worries investors.
