The Clover Finance and Darwinia Network protocols signed an alliance to promote new interaction solutions that allow digital assets from public chains to easily interact in the Polkadot ecosystems.
This Tuesday, blockchain protocols clover finance y Darwin Network They announced their alliance through a release shared by Darwinia. In the announcement, the protocols reported that they will work on the creation and development of new interaction solutions, which allow native assets of public blockchains, such as Ethereum, Bitcoin and BSC, interact with the ecosystems that develop within Polkadot, one of the biggest cryptocurrency projects in development right now.
In this way, both protocols agreed to study new cross-chain solutions to guarantee the interaction of assets on heterogeneous chains with Polkadot. The studies will be developed in different areas, including technological, economic and efficiency.
The cross-chain interaction will serve as an asset transfer bridge, providing blockchain users with an economically feasible and efficient solution. Both Clover Finance and Darwinia Network indicated that they will jointly study cross-chain standards applied to the fields of DeFi and NFT.

Expanding the potential of Polkadot
Clover Finance is a protocol smart contracts which is developed on Polkadot, and which allows project developers to migrate their protocols from the Ethereum blockchain to Polkadot, in a secure and efficient way.
This protocol defines itself as “a fundamental layer for cross-chain compatibility”, which makes use of BIP-Schnorr-compatible threshold signatures, to enable and facilitate meaningful communication between different networks, such as Polkadot, Ethereum, Bitcoin , among others. Simply put, Clover Finance facilitates secure end-to-end communication between signers of different chains, and will serve as a Polkadot parachain, when the mainnet is launched, with compatible capabilities, for example, between the Polkadot blockchain and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and the Bitcoin script, the BTC programming language.
Clover Finance is developing internal tests on its BSC-Polkadot two-way cross-chain transfer bridge. In the future, the protocol hopes to expand its transfer bridge to other assets, such as those of the Avalanche, Fantom blockchains, among others.
For its part, Darwinia Network is a decentralized network of cross-chain bridges, designed on Substrate, the framework on which Polkadot is built. This decentralized network provides the industry's most secure universal bridging solution, which helps in cross-chain asset management between heterogeneous chains. An example of this is the recent successful launch of the Ethereum – Polkadot bridge, which allows asset transfers between these blockchain networks in a viable way.
With their recent implementations of cross-chain asset transfer bridges, both protocols are further boosting Polkadot's capabilities in the digital industry.
Clover Finance prepares ICO this Tuesday
On the other hand, the Polkadot smart contract protocol is preparing a ICO (Initial Coin Offering) which starts today at 17:00 UTC. According to indicate the developers of the protocol, the sale of Clover «CLV» tokens will be carried out in three different options: a community participation round, a first and a second round. The community round will open from today until April 24; while the other two rounds are planned to open on Wednesday and close on the 24th.
The ICO is an initiative that allows the developers of a project to raise funds from the crypto community and interested parties to finance its development.
Polkadot, the new and improved “Ethereum”
As blockchain technology and digital assets make more sense, interoperability solutions between blockchains become more necessary. Polkadot is a next-generation blockchain, which presents great value solutions to the problems that blockchain networks face today, mainly those related to scalability and high performance.
The infrastructure with which this network is designed allows it to process up to 1.000 transactions per second (TPS), while other blockchains such as Ethereum only currently support about 15 TPS. Furthermore, the founder of the network, Gavin Wood, points out that Polkadot could process up to 1.000.000 TPS, under ideal conditions. This possible reality is causing effusiveness among developers, investors and the crypto community in general.
Tether comes to Polkadot
To date, several projects have decided to migrate to Polkadot, which has made this project one of the fiercest competitors to the current Ethereum. The most recent to announce its early arrival to Polkadot was Tether (USDT), the stablecoin most transacted on the market, which pointed out its migration to this blockchain as a process of evolution, growth and development.
According to the statement shared by Tether Limited, the company responsible for the issuance of USDT, the integration of the stablecoin to Polkadot will provide numerous opportunities to build new features and functionalities, expanding the adoption of USDT in the industry.
At press time, DOT, Polkadot's native token, is trading on the markets with a value of $32,9. The market capitalization of this cryptocurrency is more than $32.400 billion, ranking ninth among the most important projects in the digital industry.
