“Hunter's Arena: Rebirth” will be the first Web3 game developed by Mantisco in partnership with Immutable X.
South Korean gaming company Mantisco has announced a partnership with blockchain platform Immutable X to launch its first Web3 blockchain game, called “Hunter's Arena: Rebirth.”
The Web3 version of the game will promote true ownership of digital assets, the South Korean company explained.
In a Press release, Mantisco said that “Hunter's Arena: Rebirth” will allow players to own and retain ownership over the game's characters, as well as the skins, weapons, and other items that are part of it. On the other hand, “Hunter's Arena: Rebirth” will also help users experience entertainment and fun from a new and exciting perspective.

Mantism, blockchain and Web3
Mantisco CEO David Yoon said that through its strategic partnership with Immutable X, the company will encourage the development of new AAA-rated games while enhancing its focus on building on the blockchain in a sustainable way.
“Mantisco envisions providing its community with excitement and fun factors through stylish action-packed combat, engaging in-game scenarios, and various opportunities for users to progress their skills, competing against each other while enjoying true ownership of in-game assets.”
Mantisco, which launched “Hunter’s Arena: Legend” in 2021 as the first Korean video game to be released on PS4 and PS5 platforms, is utilizing the potential of blockchain and Web3 to revamp combat systems and improve user experience while maintaining a fast-paced and immersive level of gameplay for its players. Its battle royale game has recorded over 12 million downloads worldwide.
The company is also responsible for the development of CarrieVerse, a blockchain-based gaming metaverse that brings together more than 500 million users worldwide.

In addition to Mantisco, video game developers Konami, Will Wright, Ubisoft, Zynga and Hasbro Inc. are among those who have entered the world of blockchain, NFTs and Web3 to explore the new possibilities that these innovations offer.

Immutable X is an open-source platform that makes it easy for game developers to mint and trade NFT tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. This is the first NFT-optimized solution to be developed on the second layer of this network.
