In Argentina, two of the most recognized blockchain technology companies, Grupo Sabra and IOV Labs, created a new company called Extrimian, aimed at offering enterprise blockchain services to governments and companies.

They extriminate is the new company where different companies, organizations and governments can develop countless decentralized applications (dApps) and easily benefit from technological development and the new generation of applications of our era. Through Extrimian, service companies based on blockchain technology, Sabra Group e IOV Labs, aspire to provide enterprise blockchain services that allow governments and other entities and organizations to enjoy technological solutions in the cloud.

The services offered by the new company allow you to design, build, host and use decentralized applications based on blockchain, smart contracts (or smart contracts) and much more. In fact, with Extrimian, users will be able to design and implement their own blockchains or consortium networks, which allow greater scalability and privacy in the operations and transactions carried out within them, without losing speed and security.

Likewise, according to the announcement of the Argentine companies, and as can be seen in the official website of Extrimian, the new company is based on a platform Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) known as RSK Enterprise Cloud. This platform is an entire ecosystem that allows users to build and deploy a universe of decentralized applications based on blockchain and hosted in the distributed cloud designed by RSK

RSK Enterprise Cloud

Diego Gutiérrez Zaldívar, CEO and co-founder of IOV Labs, the company behind the development of the RSK smart contracts platform, stated that Extrimian is the ideal complement through which he can make blockchain technology and all its potential known to the world. Gutiérrez Zaldívar is sure that different companies and companies will be able to have greater exposure to the potential benefits and advantages that this technology offers without the complexity that many find in blockchain applications.

“We created the platform where companies and governments can easily benefit from a new generation of decentralized applications”

In this way, through Extrimian, both IOV Labs and Grupo Sabra plan to build a comprehensive technological stack, with the potential to compete against business giants present in the market such as Hyperledger, Rope y Quorum. In a report of Fortune Business Insights, it is revealed that the enterprise blockchain market is constantly growing and that by 2025 it may exceed $21 billion. With this amount increasing, it is undoubtedly a market for which it is worth entering the game and betting big, just as these Argentine companies do with the launch of Extrimian.

The enterprise blockchain

On the other hand, the co-founder of Grupo Sabra and CEO of Extrimian, Guillermo Villanueva, stated that the RSK Enterprise Cloud platform will allow users to choose the blockchain they want to use for their implementations. On the new platform, users have several options to choose the one with the greatest comfort or convenience. Among the blockchain options are available Ethereum, Hyperledger y RSK, although it is estimated that other networks will be incorporated in the future.

In addition, Villanueva pointed out that Extrimian does not intend to create a separate blockchain platform, but rather to integrate several of the existing networks, so the tools and applications available in RSK Enterprise Cloud can be used on other networks and services hosted in the cloud. RSK Enterprise Cloud also integrates cloud services such as those of Azure from Microsoft and Amazon Web Services from Amazon. Of these services, it is also expected that, in the near future, more others will be incorporated into the platform.

A broader vision

Villanueva also says that existing companies, providing services on blockchain, cloud and other services, must expand the limited vision they have and push the boundaries beyond their own niche. In this sense, the CEO of Extrimian points out that blockchain companies must focus on much more than developing the blockchain part; the same as for companies and companies that provide cloud services.

“After many years dealing with the complexity of developing real-world applications for the enterprise segment using the blockchain technology stack, we realized that a piece was missing, something that facilitates the development and operation of decentralized applications, which are easily integrated into the rest of the technology that companies and governments already have”

As a result of this in-depth study and research, RSK Enterprise Cloud emerged, after 6 years of hard work by its developers. The new platform offers a developer-created space for developers looking to design and deploy their decentralized blockchain-based projects and applications on new enterprise and government customers.

A perfect business duo

Grupo Sabra and IOV Labs are companies of Argentine origin that have developed numerous successful works and projects together. An example of this is the development of the Gasnet network that they designed for the natural gas supplier Gasnor, in addition to other important works with the Central Bank of Argentina, among others. The association and joint work of both companies has remained fruitful to date with the development of several innovative projects.

Now with Extrimian, technology companies seek to develop an innovative solution to save time and resources. Extrimian's BaaS platform will allow users to focus completely on business. Likewise, this network integrates solutions to connect to other blockchain networks and information technology platforms (TI), so it offers functionality and interoperability between company systems and new technologies.
