New Bitcoin training program launched in El Salvador
📍El Salvador launches CUBO+, a new Bitcoin training program focused on professional education. CUBO+ is the first training program for Bitcoin and Lightning Network developers in El Salvador. It was introduced by the National Bitcoin Office, a government entity created in November of last year to oversee and coordinate the development of Bitcoin-related projects in the country.
According to the National Office, CUBO+ is an advanced Bitcoin engineering program that will last for 6 months. The program will be fully funded by Lugano-based companies alongside stablecoin company Tether Limited and crypto investment firm Fulgur Ventures.
CUBO+ is part of El Salvador’s plans to expand Bitcoin adoption globally. In November, El Salvador announced the opening of the first Bitcoin embassy in the city of Lugano. The country wants to become “the global outsourcing hub for open source, peer-to-peer, Bitcoin and Lightning Network startups,” the Bitcoin office reported.
