What are CryptoPunks?

CryptoPunks are a collection of 10.000 simple-looking pixelated avatars. However, despite this, they are the most valuable NFT collection in the crypto market today. This is thanks to the fact that CryptoPunks were pioneers in the creation of these digital assets.

As one of the first NFT collections released on the Ethereum blockchain, CryptoPunks inspired the development of the ERC-721 standard for creating digital collectibles on the blockchain and inspired the modern Crypto Art movement, leading CryptoPunks to enter the mainstream as one of the most important and popular crypto collections of all time.
