📍Through Metaco's Harmonize, DekaBank will provide its customers with the ability to store bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. The new cryptocurrency custody services will be available to the bank's more than 1,5 million retail clients and over 500 institutional clients.
DekaBank is Germany's largest bank with more than $390.000 billion in assets under management.

Pick n Pay extends Bitcoin payments to more stores
📍More than 1.600 Pick n Pay stores in South Africa now accept Bitcoin payments. Pick n Pay is the country's largest supermarket retailer. The company is expanding Bitcoin payments after implementing the cryptocurrency on a trial basis in its payment methods for a few months in almost 40 of its stores.
Bitcoin payments are being processed through a digital wallet based on the Lightning Network, Bitcoin's scalability network, which guarantees its users the ability to make instant payments at a very low cost.
NFTs are coming to Ajman Police
📍Police in Ajman, one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, have launched an NFT collection. According to a report published by local newspaper Gulf News, Ajman Police has made available to its employees and partners a total of 200 free NFT tokens representing the agency’s “values of innovation, security and communication.”
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Abdullah Abu Shehab of the Ajman Police General Command highlighted the agency’s growing interest in digital assets and innovation. He said the main attraction of NFTs is that the information related to these digital assets is stored on the blockchain, so it cannot be falsified or manipulated.
Mohammed Abdullah Abu Shehab had reported last October about Ajman Police's entry into the metaverse, in order to drive the intelligent transformation of the agency's services and provide new possibilities to the citizens and residents of the emirate.
