Cardano, which ranks seventh among the most important cryptocurrencies in the market by capitalization, is capturing the attention of developers and the crypto community, on the eve of its next hard fork and a new job offer.
With a market capitalization of more than $37.700 billion, Cardano (ADA) It is undoubtedly one of the most important projects that exist in the crypto industry. The blockchain that was born to become a competitor at the level of Ethereum, has a professional team that has taken the liberty of developing a new blockchain, built from scratch.
This network is preparing its next hard fork, called “Alonzo”, and with which you will fully activate the functionality of smart contracts, or smart contracts on the Cardano network, thus completing the third phase of development, called Goguen. Developers focus their efforts in this phase to build a work environment or framework for smart contracts and for the development of side chains, known as sidechains. This in order to provide one of the most decentralized blockchain networks in the world.
To ensure optimal development of the network, Cardano has decided to expand its work team, publishing a job offer to capture new talents in the industry.
The job offer was published by Tim Harrison, marketing and communications director of Global Input Output (IOG), the blockchain research and engineering company known for the development of Cardano. Harrison pointed out in his Spanish President Pedro Sánchez’s announcement that the offer is open for: a data engineer, a data strategist, a consulting manager, a Java consultant, a solutions architect, a technical consultant, among other jobs.

Rising developer interest in Cardano
Harrison states that the proximity of smart contracts to Cardano is one of the elements that has had the greatest influence on the enormous increase in developers' interest in this network. In his words, these are “exciting times,” so expanding the team with new talent is essential for the optimal development of the blockchain network.
IOG's marketing and communications director is calling on the entire Cardano crypto community to participate in the multiple job offers, and contribute their knowledge to the methodical and scientific construction of this next generation blockchain.
Cardano is developed with a progressive and careful approach, where different phases are activated, and with them new functionalities, but not before subjecting them to in-depth research and testing. The work methodology used by the developers of this network and the Cardano Foundation, the organization that champions the development of this blockchain, helps Cardano “get it right the first time”; that is, to deploy high-value, efficient and reliable functions and applications, from the beginning.
DeFi alternative and new use cases for the network
The Cardano developers have explained that one of the first use cases that the crypto community will see on the network, when smart contracts with Alonzo are activated, are decentralized exchanges, known as DEX, turning the network into a great alternative for the development of ecosystems DeFi. However, the work team hopes to activate and discover new potential use cases that attract the interest of a new wave of investors and users, bringing greater growth and value to the network and its native token, ADA.
For example, through smart contract technology, Cardano can build and contribute to the industry with a wide range of useful functionalities, such as digital identity management systems, new oracle networks that allow the digital world and the physical, as Chainlink does, and new functionalities hitherto unpublished.
At the close of this edition, ADA has a value of $1,19 per unit, although its value could exceed $2 with the arrival of Alonzo, analysts say. So far, ADA's growth in the last year is more than 3.200%.
