Brave announces the beta launch of its new private search engine Brave Search, to provide an unparalleled level of privacy to all its users.

The privacy-focused web browser, Brave, has just launched the beta version of its new search engine called Brave searchWith this search engine, Brave is on par with the biggest names, such as the giant Google, to compete using an independent search service that offers an unprecedented level of privacy to its users.

The Brave development team published a release recent report stating that the new web search engine is designed to guarantee and preserve privacy, and is therefore based on a completely independent index that does not track the searches or clicks that users make while browsing the Internet.

A search engine is a computer system that allows you to browse the web by analyzing the files stored on different servers, according to the keywords that you enter for a specific search. However, the most widely used services, such as Google, Bing or Yahoo, do not offer privacy to their users, but instead collect IP addresses, bias results and personalize searches for advertising and commercial purposes. Although this operation can make certain things easier, it also exposes users by collecting and handling their private data.

Brave's private search engine solution addresses these risks by using its own index without tracking user profiles or collecting identifying information.

Absolute privacy when browsing the web

Brave believes that user convenience, security, and privacy come first. That's why Brave Search is designed to ensure unparalleled privacy, allowing users to maintain full control over their online experience.

Brave Search offers independence by having its own search index to answer common queries privately, without depending on other providers. In addition, the search engine guarantees a completely anonymous search, without tracking or profiling the users who use it. Brave Search will also offer options for paid searches without advertising and for searches with advertising, according to the choice and preference of each user.

On the other hand, Brave Search is not limited to Brave browser users. In their statement, the developers explain that soon the new search engine will be available to power other search engines on the web. This way, no matter what browser users use on their computer, they will be able to choose Brave Search to protect their privacy.

32 million active users per month

Brave has just surpassed 32 million active users this month, reflecting a 21% growth from the number of active users it had in March, which was approximately 25 million people. This growth shows that with the development of technologies, more and more users around the world are aware of the needs for privacy when using Internet services.

Brendan Eich, CEO and co-founder of Brave, said that Brave Search is the most private search engine in the industry, giving users the control and confidence they seek in alternatives to big tech. Although still in development, Brave Search aims to ensure greater independence and improved quality of service without compromising user privacy.

In addition to the private browser and search engine, Brave also offers other solutions focused on security and protecting its users' data, such as Brave Ads, Brave News, and a Firewall + VPN service.

Brave is also a browser with integration blockchain, which is why it offers various services related to the cryptocurrencies, and digital assets, such as a digital wallet called Brave Wallet that allows access to the growing ecosystem of decentralized finance, known as DeFi already the popular non-fungible tokens or NFT.
