A Bitcoin Beach, similar to the one in El Salvador, is emerging in the community of Jericoacoara in Brazil.
Inspired by the success of El Salvador's Bitcoin Beach and the impact this initiative had on President Bukele's decision to create a Bitcoin Law, Fernando Motolese, a Brazilian BTC fanatic, has started his own project to bring the idea to the paradisiacal beaches of Brazil.
Better known as Bitcoin Beach, the Salvadoran beach of El Zonte has become a center for surfing and Bitcoin lovers for some time now. This social project, which began with several anonymous BTC donations, has attracted the attention of tourists and investors from all over the world, who have come to participate in the creation of the first circular economy based on cryptocurrency.
A Bitcoin Beach in Brazil

Motolese says his idea is to go beyond Brazil and help more communities around the world to integrate Bitcoin into their lives.
Bitcoin education for the new generations
One of the initiatives of the Bitcoin Beach Brazilian is the distribution of 0.1 BTC to students and teachers of the municipal schoolIn total, 408 paper wallets containing 1000 satoshis have been prepared.
This initiative arose from the need to repair the computers at the local school, which had not been working for two years. Motolese, a computer engineer by profession, turned to the Bitcoin Beach community, which donated 0.1 BTC to him, with which he has launched this initiative for teachers and students.
The importance of local initiatives in Bitcoin
Thanks to these types of community initiatives, knowledge and adoption of Bitcoin is growing by leaps and bounds. Without going any further, El Salvador's Bitcoin Law was inspired by the beach community of El Zonte, demonstrating how beneficial they can be in the long term.
Moreover, Lightning Network has proven to be a fundamental pillar for the development and operation of these Bitcoin communities. The network allows for fast payments and transactions at almost zero cost, unlocking the full potential of cryptocurrencies as an efficient form of payment in everyday life.
