BlockchainFUE is a cooperative promoted by Fundeun and the BAES group. It is intended to promote and expand the study and knowledge of blockchain technology within the country's industries.
The initiative to create and develop the first public blockchain network was conceived when both organizations set the goal of encouraging Spanish companies to deepen their knowledge of this developing technology.
The Alicante Business-University Foundation (Fundeun) and the BAES research group recently announced the news through their official Twitter accounts. Fundeun specified that the public blockchain network initiative is being established in the municipality of Valencia as the first cooperative to offer this type of network.
For its part, the BAES group sent a message of thanks to all the cooperative members involved in the project. BAES believes that this is an initiative that will allow many companies to work together through blockchain, to consolidate a single market that will contribute to strengthening society and healthy competition between Spanish companies.
Organization and structure of the cooperative
Fundeun also specified that the cooperative was established under the name of the Valencian Cooperative, since this fits perfectly with the development plans that the organization has.
Under this figure, the cooperative will be able to promote development plans, transformation and evolution in its regulations on an ongoing basis. This favours the collaborative, participatory and decentralised vision with which it was conceived. BlockchainFUE. And which also form the basis of blockchain technology.
On the other hand, Fundeun also announced that the following companies would be present within BlockchainFUE:
“The Alicante University Business Foundation (FUNDEUN), the College of Property Registrars of Spain, Caixa Popular-Caixa Rural Coop. de Crèdit V., the Crevillent Electric Cooperative (ENERCOOP Group), the General Council of Colleges of Property Administrators of Spain, DYNASTIC EXPLOTACIONES SL., KH VIVES SL, the Agency for Technology and Electronic Certification of the Generalitat Valenciana (ACCV), the Spanish Confederation of Associated Worker Cooperatives (COCETA), the Technological Institute of Castilla y León (ITCL), and ZEUMAT ZITYCARD SL”
A total of 11 organizations are part of the founding group of BlockchainFUE.

BlockchainFUE, the cooperative that will promote technological development in Spanish companies
BlockchainFUE is constituted as the first public blockchain network from Spain. It is intended to promote the transfer of knowledge about blockchain between public administration companies. As well as to promote the development and adoption of this technology in its different areas. A process that will be carried out through specialized advice at a technical, legal and organizational level.
The objective that is sought to be achieved with BlockchainFUE is to transcend and facilitate the path towards the constitution of blockchain-based services. Directing technology towards the achievement of efficient and innovative results within all sectors of public administration. Where different companies manage to develop skills that allow them to implement blockchain technology and all its tools, such as smart contracts, dApps and more, easily, reliably and safely.
Likewise, BlockchainFUE seeks to ensure that companies can gain a broad understanding of the advantages and benefits that blockchain can bring to their environment, facilitating the creation of solutions that adapt to each of the needs. In addition to promoting and encouraging the creation of strategic alliances with other organizations and companies interested in implementing this technology.
It should not be forgotten that blockchain has great potential capable of offering multiple benefits to any industry. Among which it is worth highlighting a decentralized, autonomous model that enjoys governance, transparency, efficiency and a high level of security and trust.
The cooperative also seeks to enable different organizations, companies and businesses to hire university talent specialized in blockchain. Therefore, it will provide advisory services focused on locating and attracting this talent.
How will this cooperative work?
BlockchainFUE will provide advisory services to all the companies associated with the cooperative. They will then have the opportunity to distribute this knowledge to other companies and businesses that are interested in the innovation and technology sector. And more specifically, in learning about blockchain.
BlockchainFUE is therefore fully convinced that knowledge about blockchain will reach all possible places, making it possible for many companies to join the current technological development that will revolutionize industries.
For his part, the president of BlockchainFUE and representative of Fundeun, Manuel Cazorla, argued that:
