Bit2Me, the main cryptoasset platform in Spain with roots in the Valencian Community, and Club Deportivo Castellón have jointly raised more than €410.000 for those affected by the floods caused by the DANA in the province of Valencia.
Thanks to the unity and solidarity efforts of Bit2Me users, more than €400.000 has been raised to help people affected by the recent DANA in Valencia. This solidarity initiative not only shows the commitment of both companies in such a difficult situation for many people, but also the generosity of each donor who has added their support at this critical time.
The effort has been a joint effort between Bob Voulgaris, president of CD Castellón, with a personal contribution of €250.000, to which have been added €49.100 from donations from the team's fans and around €120.000 more from Bit2Me, which opened numerous addresses on the blockchain for donations with cryptocurrencies. With the collaboration of both institutions, the significant total sum of more than €410.000 has been reached.
A gesture of solidarity that demonstrates the power of unity
Both CD Castellón and Bit2Me would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed to making this initiative possible. Every euro raised is a sign of empathy and solidarity that reflects the values of our users, the 'orellut' fans and the collaborators of the Castellón club.
These funds will be used entirely to support families and communities who, after the DANA, face the challenge of rebuilding their lives and homes. This solidarity action is further proof that cryptocurrencies and football can be drivers of change and support in the most difficult times.
