Bit2Me, the leading digital asset firm in the Spanish market, registered with the Bank of Spain, and owned by Telefónica and Inveready Venture Capital, the highest-return fund in the Spanish market, has appointed Koh Onozawa Martinez Co-CEO of the companyOnozawa thus joins the Board of Directors, joining co-founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board, Leif Ferreira, who will continue to serve as such.
Koh Onozawa Martinez Onozawa is a Web3/technology entrepreneur, advisor and investor in some of the world’s leading venture-backed startups, mainly in Europe and the US. At a very young age, he was included in the first Forbes 30 under 30 Asia list in 2016 and was a finalist for EY Ernst & Young Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2015. Throughout his career, Onozawa has launched startups in Asia, the US and Europe and is a venture partner for several funds based in Silicon Valley.
The addition of Onozawa as co-CEO will provide the company with agility and effectiveness to grow and confirm its leadership in Europe and LATAM in the Web3 industry. It will also strengthen the company's new line of business, focused on offering Web3 and blockchain technology infrastructure to third parties through Bit2Me Crypto Api (wallet-as-a-service), and Bit2Me Innovation Solutions, under the security, the advantages and the know-how from a company like Bit2Me, a pioneer in the sector since 2014 and with its native token, the B2M, operational since 2021.
For its part, Leif ferreira, will continue to contribute to the growth and consolidation of Bit2Me with its solid experience in the creation and launch of products, in addition to its deep knowledge of the Latin American market, which have made Bit2Me a player fundamental in Spain, Portugal and several Latin American countries.
