Bit2Me lands in Brazil and signs the former Binance country manager

Brazil is a potential market with 20 million cryptocurrency investors.

Spanish exchange Bit2Me has hired Ricardo Da Ros to begin its expansion into Latin America.

Bit2Me, the first company recognized by the Bank of Spain as a virtual currency service provider, has signed the former country manager of Binance in Brazil, Ricardo Da Ros, who will be responsible for directing future operations in the Latin American country.

Brazil has at least 20 million cryptocurrency investors, according to internal data from Bit2Me. Bitcoin trading volume in the country grew by more than 70% in 2021 compared to the previous year, according to data from the Federal Tax Service (RFB).

In this sense, Pablo Casadio, CFO of Bit2Me, considers Brazil “a key country for Bit2Me's entry into Latin America, since more than 20 million Brazilians already invest in cryptocurrencies, which demonstrates their interest in learning about this new technology.”

Who is Ricardo Da Ros?

Ricardo Da Ros worked as a country manager at the Binance exchange. He has also served as business manager for Ripio's technology in the country. Thanks to the work he developed in this position, he gained extensive knowledge of the Brazilian market and its needs.

Regarding his academic background, Da Ros holds a degree in Computer Science and Informatics from Ohio State University and is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and English.
