Fluyez is the main exchange in Peru and is endorsed by the Fintech Association of Peru.
Bit2Me begins its acquisition strategy, with the Purchase of Fluyez, the first Peruvian cryptocurrency company, thereby strengthening its presence and commitment to the Latin American market, a strategic region for Bit2Me, both in terms of the number of users and its potential growth and commitment to cryptocurrencies.
In addition to being the main Peruvian exchange, the company had made the international leap, with presence in other Latin American countries, such as Mexico.
The exchange acquisition operation is part of the non-organic growth strategy, through purchases, that Bit2Me plans to develop over the next few months. In this way, Bit2Me strengthens its commitment to the crypto ecosystem and the Latin American market, a region in which it already has a presence, through its offices in Brazil.
After the acquisition, Fluyez will continue to operate independently, under the leadership of its management staff, as the Spanish exchange will focus on advising and encouraging the expansion of the Peruvian company, putting at its disposal all the resources and knowledge that Bit2Me has accumulated since its creation in 2015.
Leif Ferreira, CEO of Bit2Me, considers that Fluyez's team, business model and growth plan are very aligned with that of Bit2me.
“We want Fluyez to continue operating autonomously, but with all the capabilities that a collaboration of this type allows. This acquisition shows Bit2me’s strength and commitment to the crypto ecosystem. We hope that in the following months new opportunities can be closed with other companies in the industry,” says Ferreira.
On the other hand, Luis Eduardo Berrospi, CEO and co-founder of Fluyez, is very proud of this alliance because now the exchange is part of the Bit2Me group. “With all the experience that the Bit2Me team has in the crypto sector, we are going to boost this industry locally in a safer, legal, transparent and supported way. I believe that all this will take Fluyez to the next level,” he says.
The Peruvian startup has great visibility and confidence in the national market. Fluyez began operations in March 2021 and works with more than 60 cryptocurrencies. The fintech offers its users cryptocurrency custody and exchange services as well as other more innovative services such as lending, rewards and cryptocurrency payments.
