The multinational insurance and asset management company AXA becomes the first French insurer to enter the metaverse alongside The Sandbox.
AXA France has entered the blockchain metaverse The Sandbox to explore the opportunities of the world of tomorrow, the insurance multinational explained on its Twitter account. Its CEO, Patrick Cohen, said that the company intends to learn and familiarize itself with the metaverse to provide its users with new opportunities, while being able to explore the multiple use cases of the virtual world.

AXA France is the first French insurer to buy a plot of land within the blockchain metaverse. The company explained that it has chosen The Sandbox because it is one of the largest and most widely used virtual worlds currently. Big Companies in The Sandbox
In recent months, large companies from different industries have made their entrance into this Metaverse. To name a few, the professional services company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) I buy a virtual plot of land in The Sandbox at the end of December last year, to develop its professional advisory, auditing, consulting and tax services in the virtual world.

Decentraland, another of the great metaverses built on the blockchain of Ethereum, was chosen by the prestigious financial and banking services company JP Morgan to open its own virtual headquarters, called Onyx, last week.
