Recently, Treasure DAO announced the development of an interconnected blockchain gaming network called Treasure Chain, an innovative project that combines the potential of Arbitrum's blockchain technology with the appeal of Web3 gaming.
TreasureDAO is leveraging the advantages and potential of the Arbitrum network to create a Web3 gaming platform that is capable of offering users an unparalleled user experience with low commission fees and fast transactions.
Arbitrum's blockchain ecosystem, which has its own chain dedicated to Web3 gaming and social applications called Arbitrum Nova, is growing in this sector thanks to the high levels of scalability, security and efficiency it allows for both developers and users.
Arbitrum is a second layer or L2 solution, secured by Ethereum. It is based on Optimistic Rollup technology, allowing users to interact with decentralized applications (DApps) as if they were on Ethereum, but with transactions that cost only a fraction of the fees on the main network.
TreasureDAO announces a promising new Web3 chain on Arbitrum
Decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) dedicated to blockchain gaming development, TreasureDAO, has announced its new project Treasure Infinity Chains. It is an initiative that seeks to create a chain or network of interconnected games that allows players to explore different worlds and live playful experiences.
The project was presented through an informative technical document or Litepaper, which was published on the X platform (formerly known as Twitter) last week. This document details the goals, architecture, and economic model of Treasure Infinity Chains.
Through Treasure Infinity Chains, TreasureDAO seeks to create an interoperable gaming platform that allows players to enjoy different options on different blockchain networks.
On the other hand, by using the Arbitrum blockchain,Treasure will offer a smooth and entertaining gaming experience, as well as highly scalable and secure, to its players in the chain.
“The chain, built on Arbitrum technology, will be tailored to the specific needs of the Treasure gaming ecosystem, in order to provide optimal performance and sufficient security guarantees in games,” the DAO said.
New tools for Web3 game developers
In addition to the new gaming-focused network, the DAO will also provide essential new tools for blockchain game developers. First, TreasureDAO announced the launch of the Treasure Development Kit (TDK), a development kit that will offer Web3 game builders cross-platform support for several popular game engines, such as Unity and Godot. In addition to this, the TDK will allow developers to create game logic and tokens with ease.
On the other hand, the DAO announced the launch of the Treasure Management Console (TDM), an administration console from which it will offer customizable support to configure games according to the preferences of developers and players. This console will also allow management of player identities, metrics, and other elements.
MAGIC, the token that will connect the Treasure Chain ecosystem
The MAGIC token is at the heart of the ambitious project TreasureDAO is developing. This token has become the key currency that will connect players, games, and communities within the broader Treasure ecosystem.
The utility token has a number of versatile uses, ranging from governance to staking. MAGIC will be the token used to pay cross-chain infrastructure fees, a portion of which will go to the Arbitrum network, in order to ensure that the goals and operations of both projects are aligned.
According to the DAO’s whitepaper, the implementation of Treasure Infinity Chains on testnet will take place in Q2024 3. The DAO announced that its plans are to encourage early adoption of the new WebXNUMX gaming platform.
On the other hand, the official launch of Treasure Infinity Chains on mainnet is planned for the third quarter of this year, which will give developers enough time to evaluate the implementation and fix any potential bugs or errors.
The GameFi ecosystem grows in Arbitrum
In addition to Treasure Infinity Chains, other Web3 gaming projects are built on Arbitrum technology. In the middle of last year, developers at Offchain Labs announced the development of Xai, a gaming-focused blockchain that aims to offer a scalable, efficient, and cost-effective gaming architecture designed for the next wave of Web3 innovation.
Blockchain gaming, according to estimates from several major firms, could expand with an annual growth rate of up to 47% in the next decade, making it one of the most in-demand sectors in the crypto industry. Based on these estimates, several blockchain projects, such as Arbitrum, are currently competing to provide infrastructures and environments that are adapted to the upcoming needs of the crypto industry.
Web3Games, Galaxia Studios, BattleFly, Camelot Guardian, Honor World, NeoBred, and Frends on Chain are some of the Web3 gaming projects being developed on the Arbitrum network. Several of these projects have also been deployed on other Ethereum layer 2 solutions such as Polygon, Base, and Optimism.
