Amazon has added new tools to its Amazon Managed Blockchain service that make it easier for Web3 developers to work.
In a releaseAmazon announced new tools that will be integrated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to enable developers to create, test, and deploy smart contracts, decentralized applications, and other solutions powered by Web3 technologies in a simple and efficient way. simpler, faster and safer.
The tech giant's new tools will specifically be integrated into its fully managed blockchain service. Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB), which offers a blockchain network provisioning and management infrastructure through Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum, to facilitate the development of applications based on these technologies.
Now, AMB services will be enhanced with the integration of Access y Query, two services that, as Amazon explained, extend AMB's capabilities to help developers easily interact with public blockchains, so they can build new, scalable applications seamlessly.
New “Access” and “Query” tools in Amazon Managed Blockchain
Through Access, Amazon Managed Blockchain provides serverless access to non-mining full nodesThis tool will allow developers to instantly call standard remote procedure calls (RPCs) to interact with digital assets and applications based on multiple chains, including the Bitcoin network, without having to install, configure or maintain any nodes to connect to the blockchain.
With “Query”, Amazon Managed Blockchain will enable developers query, filter and analyze historical blockchain data on different blockchains, in real time and in an accessible manner, through the use of APIs.
Both tools will allow developers to access and query data stored on major blockchains, starting with Bitcoin and Ethereum, in one place, allowing them to leverage all the advantages of this technology, such as transparency, traceability and immutability, to develop new applications and innovative solutions without having to worry about the underlying technical complexity.
Accelerating Blockchain Development
The new tools that Amazon has integrated into AMB seek to simplify the work of blockchain developers so that, instead of spending time on undifferentiated tasks, such as node operations or data indexing, they can focus on creating value-added user experiences.
The company highlighted that the use cases for public blockchains have matured, giving rise to a broad ecosystem of applications that enable new forms of value exchange across the DeFi, platforms for consumer engagement and loyalty through the NFT and efficient paid services using cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. All of these applications are also helping to build the vision of a decentralized, open, interoperable internet, where users can regain control of their own data and assets. This new internet is known as Web3.
Amazon has been gradually moving towards Web3 to help with its development. Through Access and Query, Amazon wants to simplify the development of blockchain technology and reduce the barriers to entry for developers interested in this technology. In this way, the company aims to expand the reach of Web3 and contribute to its mass adoption.
