Bitcoin recently celebrated 15 years since its creation, when the first block that gave life to the blockchain, known as the Genesis block, was mined. This block contains the first 50 bitcoins that were mined on the network and others, coming from the countless transactions that bitcoiners and supporters of the cryptocurrency have sent to the wallet over the years.
The sending of bitcoins to the Genesis block address is believed to be a tribute of sorts to the enigmatic creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto.
Satoshi's wallet accumulates 99,68 BTC, with an approximate value of $4.343.369 dollars, at the time of writing this article. Of these, 50 BTC correspond to the first bitcoins that were mined in history, the rest, to thousands of transactions that have been sent to date, with a few satoshis, as a tribute to the creator of the cryptocurrency.

📍United Launch Alliance's (ULA) Vulcan Centaur rocket, launching this Monday, will take Bitcoin to the Moon. So what he highlighted Stephan Lutz, CEO of BitMEX, in a publication through his social networks, in which he reported that the crypto derivatives company will send 1 Bitcoin to space, specifically, to the lunar surface, on ULA's Vulcan Centaur rocket, scheduled to launch this Monday, January 8.
According to Lutz, this will make Bitcoin the first financial asset to reach outer space. The rocket is expected to reach its destination and, with it, that of Bitcoin to reach the Moon, literally, in February.
