Technology giant IBM has joined the Lanzadera project incubator to boost the development of Spanish startups focused on innovation and new technologies, such as blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

The two companies signed a agreement The recent initiative seeks to boost the development of new technology startups in Spain. The technology giant IBM will make its public cloud data platform available to companies, IBM Cloud, which all Spanish startups will be able to access to benefit from the potential of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology blockchain, in addition to the safety features and weather data offered by this company. 

For its part, in exchange for IBM technology, the project accelerator and incubator Lanzadera will offer part of its facilities so that the technology giant can develop its program. Startup with IBM, which offers startups and new companies the opportunity to receive training, technical advice, and a loan of up to $120.000 for one year for their development and technological boost. The acceleration program is intended to benefit Lanzadera entrepreneurs who seek to optimize the use and implementation of disruptive technologies within their spaces.

Consulting and technical support

In its statement, IBM says it will provide specialized consulting services and technical support to Lanzadera companies and entrepreneurs who need to optimize their use of the IBM Cloud platform. Likewise, through its Startup with IBM program, the company will provide the opportunity to access more than 130 services, including the IBM Blockchain platform, IBM Analytics, IBM Security and many others. 

All of these solutions are focused on providing excellent quality products and services that meet the specific needs of each startup. For example, the IBM Blockchain solution is focused on ensuring security and trust when making transactions, eliminating third parties and intermediaries, and significantly improving transaction execution times. 

Development and growth for new startups

On the other hand, IBM's acceleration program also focuses on startups and new companies developing new skills to take full advantage of the potential of emerging technologies. As the president of IBM Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel points out, Horacio Morell GálvezIBM has the technology and trained technical staff to provide maximum support for entrepreneurs to successfully develop their startups.

Likewise, Morell Gálvez pointed out that the agreement recently signed with Lanzadera will allow companies and entrepreneurs in Spain to be promoted, encouraging growth, development and success through artificial intelligence technologies, blockchain and cloud services.

On the other hand, the general director of Lanzadera, Javier Jimenez, indicated that the new agreement will allow its startups to receive advice and support from a leading multinational such as IBM, which will add a lot of value to their solutions and developments with the application of new technologies. Jiménez assured that the collaboration with IBM will have an enormously positive impact on the development and growth of its entrepreneurs and their companies.
