Alchemy integrates with Rootstock to accelerate DeFi building on Bitcoin

The recent integration of Alchemy into the Rootstock platform marks a notable advancement in the way developers can build decentralized applications (dApps) in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

This collaboration, announced by Alchemy on its social media, will simplify the development process of DApps on Bitcoin and offer developers a more robust and accessible environment to take advantage of the capabilities of the Bitcoin network in the field of decentralized finance (DeFi).

RootStock developers also highlighted that the integration of Alchemy will significantly transform the developer experience by offering advanced tools that will facilitate interaction with Ethereum smart contracts.

In the crypto industry, Alchemy is recognized for providing developers with unprecedented access to a set of tools that optimize Web3 performance, scalability, and usability. This means that blockchain developers can focus on innovating their applications and projects instead of dealing with the complicated configurations related to the infrastructure of this innovation.

Innovative tools to build DeFi on Bitcoin

With the addition of Alchemy, Rootstock developers now have access to a set of tools that include everything from a intuitive user interface, which allows for easy management of applications, up to a scalable infrastructure, which ensures the ability to handle millions of API requests with minimal latency. Thanks to this, the DApps that are developed will be able to operate smoothly, even in high-demand situations.

Additionally, the integration of Alchemy into RootStock will provide developers with access to a wide range of Product APIs specificas the NFT API, API Token y API Transfers, which will make it easier for developers to integrate advanced functionalities into their decentralized applications more efficiently and quickly.

On the other hand, the recent integration between RootStock and Alchemy also ensures a multi-chain flexibility, useful for switching between the Layer 2 network and other blockchain ecosystems from a single dashboard. According to the Spanish President Pedro Sánchez’s announcement, this simplifies multichain development, allowing Bitcoin developers to access resources that were previously unavailable.

The perfect fusion: Bitcoin security and Ethereum flexibility

The proposal to combine the liquidity and security of Bitcoin with the flexibility of Ethereum is becoming a reality through Rootstock, Alchemy said.

Thanks to this integration, developers will be able to create smart contracts that benefit from Bitcoin’s robust infrastructure, while utilizing the tools and familiarity that Ethereum offers. This not only expands the possibilities for developers, but also contributes to the broader adoption of DeFi in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Therefore, the integration of Alchemy into Rootstock represents a crucial step in creating an effective bridge between these two powerful blockchain worlds. Currently, Bitcoin remains the most robust and capitalized cryptocurrency in the crypto industry, with a market value of $1,4 trillion, while Ethereum retains its position in second place, with a market cap of $300.000.
