Ethereum (ETH), the second cryptocurrency in the market by capitalization, shows a growth of 6,5%, exceeding $2,600 per unit. Other cryptoassets such as Cardano (ADA), polygon (MATIC), uniswap (UNI) y Near Protocol (NEAR) have grown more than 5%, while altcoins like Gala Network (GALA), Waves (WAVES) y Kadena (KDA) rose between 12% and 30% in the last few hours. 

The price rally in the market has pushed the total capitalization of cryptocurrencies up to 1,84 trillions of dollars currently.

📍‌The Cryptocurrency Users Association was founded in Granada to train and provide protection to Spanish speakers. Carlos Aránguez, a lawyer and professor at the University of Granada, has created the Association of Cryptocurrency Users in Granada (Spain). The organization, founded as a non-profit entity, will provide advice and protection to all Spanish-speaking crypto users, regarding their rights as cryptocurrency users. 

Aránguez explained that this association will also supply the need for knowledge and education about cryptocurrencies and other industry innovations, such as blockchain, DeFi, NFTs and more, so it will organize seminars, conferences, courses and other events focused on the training and learning of the Hispanic crypto community. The creation of this association, which is open to anyone for free, was revealed by Aranguez to The Journal Yesterday. 

📍‌Digital asset management firm Valkyrie Funds is seeking approval for a new ETF focused on crypto mining companies. The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) received a new application for the creation of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) by the firm Valkyrie Funds LLC. The California-based digital asset manager wants to launch a new ETF that offers exposure to crypto mining companies; an activity that has grown exponentially in the country due to the bans imposed by China on cryptocurrencies in mid-2021.

If approved, the ETF would be listed on Nasdaq and would allow investors to gain exposure to mining companies whose revenues are derived at least 50% from crypto mining, according to the SEC filing. 

📍‌Algorand, Axie Infinity, Enjin, Gala, Iota, Oasis Network, The Sandbox and VeChain could be coming to Grayscale Investments' investment products. The digital asset investment firm, with more than 55.000 million in cryptoassets under management, published its list of cryptocurrencies to consider for 2022. The list includes a total of 23 cryptocurrencies, including DeFi, NFT, and Metaverse tokens. 

According to the list, ALGO, ATOM, AXS, BNT, EGLD, ENJ, FTM, GALA, IOTA, ROSE, SCRT, SAND, VET and YGG are some of the ones that could be added to their investment products this year.
