Spain: Women prefer diversity when investing in cryptocurrencies

In Spain, women surpass men in relation to the possession of a diverse number of cryptocurrencies, the platform indicated in a recently published study.

According to the CNMV, the average profile of the cryptocurrency investor in Spain is a man, between 35 and 44 years old, university student and with more than 3.000 euros of income per month. However, since the study published by the CNMV in August of last year, to the current date, it seems that the appetite for cryptocurrencies in Spain has been changing.

This was highlighted by the Crypto Insiders platform in a report recent, in which he revealed that It is women who are leading the cryptocurrency market in Spain, at least in portfolio diversification.

The cryptocurrency market has become more diverse and inclusive in Spain

According to data revealed by the platform, Spanish women prefer to keep a more diverse number of cryptocurrencies in their wallets than men, a characteristic that is reflecting a greater inclusivity within the crypto world

According to Crypto Insiders, “women in Spain have an average of 5,2 different cryptocurrencies in their wallets, while men lag behind with an average of 4,9.”

“Cryptocurrencies are gaining popularity and visibility among women.”

The platform noted that these figures confirm that the presence of women in the cryptocurrency market has been gaining more and more strength. They also show that women have been exploring the crypto market more actively.

Cryptocurrencies are an alternative for women seeking financial freedom

The growing participation of Spanish women within the crypto world is due to two main reasons. According to the study carried out by Crypto Insiders, several sources confirm that women have an increasingly important role in making financial decisions within their homes. On the other hand, many more women are exploring alternatives, such as cryptocurrencies, as a way to achieve financial freedom.

“Women are looking for new ways to achieve financial independence and see cryptocurrencies as an innovative way to manage and grow their money.”

Another study published by the cryptocurrency price monitoring platform CoinMarkerCap, in the middle of last year, indicates that, although the cryptocurrency market continues to be led by men, in terms of trading volume, women increasingly feel attracted by the technological capabilities and innovation offered by the industry.

Crypto Insiders concludes that the current changes perceived in the Spanish crypto market reflect the dynamics of cryptocurrencies, which are becoming a more significant part of the financial system and economies around the world.
