Shibarium is developed as a layer 2 blockchain that will provide greater scalability and an improved experience to Shiba Inu users.
Shiba Inu development lead Shytoshi Kusama has confirmed that Shibarium beta development is ready.
Both on his Twitter account and from the official Telegram channel that was launched at the end of January to keep the community informed about the arrival of the new network, Shytoshi announced that today will begin the launch of a series of media to present its new Shibarium blockchain to the world.
Apparently, the Shibarium beta release would be scheduled for sometime this week, but in Shytoshi's words, the community is mourning the loss of Shiba Inu's lead developer, Kaaldhairya, whom Shytoshi he dedicated a few words and asked for time to respect his grief.
Shibarium is ready, confirms Shytoshi
“Shibarium is ready. I can't wait to show you the beta version”, wrote Shytoshi on the Shibarium channel on Telegram.
Likewise, the SHIBArmy leader highlighted that the series of media that he will begin publishing today aims to “make things clear” in relation to the new network.
This Tuesday, the Shiba Inu development leader also presented the new logo of the Shibarium network.
As we have explained in this medium, Shibarium is a second layer solution based on Ethereum that is designed to make the Shiba Inu ecosystem more scalable, decentralized and secure.
But Shibarium will not only improve gas rates and increase the scalability of Shiba Inu, it will also drive the transitional evolution of this blockchain ecosystem, opening the way for new opportunities in the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) space.
A series of media to educate and inform SHIBArmy about the new blockchain
The media series that Shytoshi will publish starting today will allow the Shiba Inu community to learn more about how the new network will work and what its potential will be.
At the end of January, the Shibarium developers highlighted the importance of educate and inform the community about the basics of layer 2 networking, especially how it works, with the aim of giving users a good understanding of how Shibarium will work to “create an easy-to-use and welcoming experience for everyone at launch.”
As part of this effort, Shytoshi opened a Telegram channel at the end of January to expand the communication channels that the network developers maintain with the community of users and collaborators.
At the time, the Shiba Inu developer indicated that conversations between users would be enabled for the launch of Shibarium. However, although the beta of the new blockchain network has not yet been launched, conversations were enabled on said Telegram channel, confirming that Shibarium is about to arrive.
The publications and media that the Shiba Inu developers will launch on Shibarium will be aimed at both the user community experienced in this ecosystem and the blockchain and those new to the subject. Likewise, Shibarium developers will technically explain how Shiba Inu users and members of their community can participate as validators and delegators of the new blockchain.
