Samsung will implement a platform on its smart TVs that will allow users to browse, preview, purchase and display digital art NFTs.
Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced its partnership with Nifty Gateway, one of the world's leading NFT art auctions, to Implement an NFT platform for Smart TV which will allow users to explore, purchase and trade digital art as well as NFT collectibles.
Nifty Gateway's NFT service will be integrated with the Samsung NFT platform on all high-end smart TVs launched from 2022 onwards, such as QLED and Neo QLED TVs. In addition, users of other ranges of smart TVs from the brand will be able to download the independent application of Nifty gateway to be able to manage their NFTs.
Users will have the ability to seamlessly browse, view, and interact with NFTs from the comfort of their couch, with access to over 6.000 digital artworks from emerging and top artists such as Beeple, Pak, Daniel Arsham and others.
As pointed out Duncan Cock Foster, one of the founders of Nifty Gateway, one of the goals of this partnership is to make NFTs more accessible to everyone by making it easier for users to purchase them. To do this, they have leveraged Samsung’s experience in developing simple user interfaces, as well as its focus on the highest quality displays.
