Ripple has partnered with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to explore the use of its RLUSD stablecoin and blockchain technology in delivering humanitarian aid.

Through this partnership, Ripple, known for its leadership in blockchain infrastructure solutions and digital assets, seeks to advance research and exploration of the potential of blockchain, along with stablecoins, to optimize the management of humanitarian aid delivery and assistance to vulnerable communities. 

In addition to announcing this collaboration, Ripple has also committed $1 million to the IRC, in a multi-year effort to support the organization in generating a positive global impact. All of this highlights the importance of this partnership in improving social assistance, especially in communities that have been affected by crises.

Ripple and IRC join forces with blockchain and RLUSD

Ripple he highlighted that the combination of IRC's experience in delivering aid in more than 40 countries and its cross-border payments technology will contribute to establishing a robust framework to transform the way humanitarian social assistance is distributed.
