The influence of the Metaverse on university education

Nanjing University is not the only one training students for the Metaverse. In fact, the Tokyo Imperial University was one of the first to approach this technological innovation, reporting on the creation of its own metaverse for educational purposes to teach courses and specializations focused on this technology from its engineering faculty.

Also, in the middle of this year, the University of Arizona, in the United States, reported on its plans to teach its classes and train students remotely.

The University of Arizona has submitted several patent applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, signaling the possibility of adopting various use cases of the metaverse and new technologies, to evolve and strengthen its practices and improve the experience of its students.
