MicroStrategy seeks Lightning Network application development specialist

MicroStrategy is hiring a Software Engineer with experience in Cloud Solutions, Bitcoin, and Lightning Network to develop a SaaS services platform.

The American company MicroStrategy, which develops business intelligence software, is working on the Development of applications related to Lightning Network, the leading scalability solution designed for the Bitcoin blockchain. 

Michael Saylor, former CEO of MicroStrategy and now executive chairman of the company, reported earlier this month that the company is working on a number of network-related projects to expand its services, including a wallet, authentication system and enterprise servers based on the Lightning Network. 

Now, Saylor has reiterated that lMicroStrategy software engineers are working on developing new applications based on Lightning Network, posting a job offer for a software engineer with experience in Bitcoin and this blockchain solution. 

In the job posting, MicroStrategy highlighted that knowledge and experience in building cloud solutions and contributions to Bitcoin open source via Bitcoin Core are considered a plus. The company is also considering experience in developing DeFi applications as important.

Innovating in software based on Bitcoin and Lightning Network

MicroStrategy is looking for a Lightning Network Software Specialist in order to develop a new Software as a Service, or SaaS, platform. 

As Saylor noted on Twitter, the new platform will be based on Bitcoin's Lightning Network solution and will allow MicroStrategy to expand its enterprise products and services into new use cases.

The goal is to deliver efficient and secure applications that enable businesses and corporate clients to protect networks, to respond to current cybersecurity challenges, as well as to help companies monetize websites and deploy mass wallets using Bitcoin innovation.
