Popular former Argentine footballer Kun Agüero has signed an agreement with The Sandbox and is working on the launch of “Kuniverse”, his own metaverse designed in collaboration with Eter Studio, a company specialized in the creation of fully immersive experiences in the metaverse. The Kuniverse metaverse will feature a collection of 9320 NFT avatars and will be a new opportunity to provide the most innovative experiences to the footballer's fans.
It is worth noting that Kun Agüero has won the Premier League five times and although he is considered by many football fans to be one of the best strikers in the world, he made the leap into the world of gaming and e-sports some time ago after being diagnosed with arrhythmia.
Since then, the former player has become a very popular icon in the world of streaming and gaming and has made it public that he is really excited to have his first space in the decentralized virtual world in the metaverse of The Sandbox.
Kuniverse is a space that has been built in collaboration with Eter Studio and will offer, in addition to the aforementioned NFTs, electronic sports, a dance floor and exclusive benefits for its users, as well as different surprises for the athlete's fans, such as trips to Qatar to meet him and enjoy the 2022 World Cup.

The launch of Kuniverse and the first NFT avatars is officially scheduled for November 6 of this year, although it is already possible for interested users and followers of Kun to access it in advance through a white list on Kun Agüero's Discord channel.
As The Sandbox explained, users who sign up for this Waitlist will be able to access the project's NFT pre-sale one day before the public sale takes place. The Sandbox will also limit the sale of NFTs to five avatars per wallet in order to ensure a much fairer distribution.
Finally, Kun has explained through his channels that this first phase of the project will come with many surprises and benefits related to his 9320 NFT avatars, created especially to explore and be part of this unique virtual world. These avatars are inspired by the different facets of Kun's sporting career and his most important moments, with five different rarity levels: Special Kuns, Robot Kuns, Future Kuns, E-Kuns and Football Kuns.
