The agreement between the Bitcoin country and the Internet giant extends for the next 7 years and makes El Salvador the first country in Latin America to adopt Google's technological infrastructure.
Google will open an office in El Salvador and use emerging technologies, such as the cloud and artificial intelligence, to boost the nation's technological development, as well as its economic growth and the creation of new jobs.
Specifically, in the area of health, Google will implement AI to enable the health system of El Salvador sharing medical information in real time, in order to offer diagnoses and treatments in a better and more efficient way. Regarding education, Google and El Salvador They will build a unified educational platform that allows the nation to connect all of this group. Through this unified platform, El Salvador will promote education and learning in students in an effective and intuitive way.
In relation to the governmental system, the vision of El Salvador aims towards a digital government, which is why Google will provide a new platform that will allow the digitalization of a large part of the processes in order to reduce bureaucracy and increase accessibility. Some of the examples mentioned are the digitalization of permits, invoices and other documents required in the execution of works and national and international private investments.
