An awards ceremony dedicated to tokenized assets and digitalized securities (TadS), TadS Awards 2022, includes nominations for digital art, the metaverse, and more in its new “NFT Innovations” category.
The annual international TadS Awards, the world’s first dedicated to the Tokenized Assets and Digital Securities sectors, is adding a new award category, called “NFT Innovations,” which includes five new nominations: Digital Art, Content/IP, Impact/ESG, Phygital, and Metaverse.
Samson Lee, Chairman of the TadS Awards Organizing Committee and CEO of Coinstreet Partners, one of the companies responsible for the event, commented that NFT tokens align with innovation goals and the pace of growth that the TadS industry has experienced.
The new NFT Innovations category will recognize the most innovative and outstanding companies that have been driving the development of these digital assets, Lee said.
On the other hand, Peter Yan, CEO of Hong Kong Cyberport, which supports the TadS Awards 2022, noted that NFTs play a fundamental role in building the new Internet, more open and decentralized, Web3.

Blockchain industry players Coin Street, Deloitte and Digital Asset Series, as well as major technology companies such as IBM, are among the organizers of this year’s TadS Awards.
The new nominations for the TadS Awards 2022
According to the TadS Awards Organizing Committee, the new nominations included in the NFT Innovations category will reward the most outstanding companies, which will be voted on by a panel of independent industry experts.
The TadS Awards 2022 organizing committee also announced that nominations for the new NFT category or any of the other existing categories can be submitted by both nominators and nominees, free of charge.
In addition, he said that nominees are free to withdraw at any time and that the information submitted during the nomination process will be handled confidentially and securely.
TadS Awards 2022 takes place in Hong Kong
The awards ceremony for the winners of the TadS Awards 2022 Digital Art, Content/IP, Impact/ESG, Phygital and Metaverse nominations will take place during the «NFT-Metaverse Expo 2022», to be held from September 23 to 25 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, China.
InvestHK fintech director King Leung highlighted that Hong Kong has become the second largest art auction market in the world, as well as being one of the most important financial centers in the world. This, Leung said, “gives us a huge competitive advantage to become a leading global player in this NFT revolution.”
The mission of the TadS Awards 2022 through NFT is to foster the development of the NFT ecosystem and drive Hong Kong to become a global leader in this digital innovation.
Nominations for the new edition of the TadS Awards will be open until August 30 of this year, for the NFT Innovations category, as shown in the event agenda.
